You will lead cross-functional teams, manage external test labs and suppliers, and contribute hands-on with scripting in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB to streamline tests and data analysis. This is a high-impact, leadership-focused role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Hardware Reliability Engineering experience.
• Direct experience shipping products in consumer electronics plus heavy‑duty/regulated industries (automotive, trucking, defense, etc.).
• Technical leadership in defining reliability requirements, test plans, and managing 3rd‑party labs/suppliers.
• Proficient scripting/programming for test automation and data extraction (Python, C/C++, Bash, MATLAB).
• Customer facing experience presenting reliability data to enterprise customers.
• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a relevant engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Build and mature Hardware Reliability Engineering function from 0 to 1.
• Define hardware reliability requirements and test strategies (HALT/ALT, environmental stress testing).
• Lead 3rd‑party labs and manufacturing partners to execute tests on schedule and to spec.
• Serve as reliability voice across hardware design, quality, and systems teams; engage with external customers.
• Lead root‑cause analysis on hardware defects and drive corrective actions into design.
• Hands‑on scripting to streamline testing workflows and data collection.
