Google LLC is seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineering Manager in Sunnyvale/Austin to lead a team of reliability engineers. You will own the hardware reliability strategy through concept, qualification, production and field, guiding test methods, reliability predictions and corrective actions.

You will collaborate with hardware engineering, validation, manufacturing and partners, ensuring reliability status is clearly communicated to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in applying Design for Reliability techniques and working on multiple consumer electronics products.
• 4 years of experience managing a technical team.

Responsabilidades

• Grow and develop engineers, set the team's technical direction and priorities.
• Own the reliability strategy for hardware across concept, qualification, production and field.
• Establish test methods and qualification processes used across programs.
• Provide reliability predictions for new and deployed products; drive RCA/CAPA to closure.
• Partner with hardware engineering, validation, manufacturing, operations, ODM and labs; communicate status and trade-offs to leadership.
