About the Role
We’re hiring a Technical Recruiter on a contract basis (part-time) to lead searches for VC-backed startups and fast-growing companies. You’ll help teams hire for critical roles, using your industry expertise to understand technical needs, build trust with hiring managers, and create a thoughtful, high-touch candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with client's hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and provide recruitment strategies to identify and attract high-quality candidates
- Leverage various sourcing methods to build a pipeline of qualified candidates, utilizing industry contacts, social media, job boards, and professional networks
- Conduct in-depth technical screens to assess candidates against required qualifications and role fit
- Provide an exceptional client and candidate experience throughout the recruiting process, ensuring timely communication and transparency
- Maintain accurate, detailed records in TenX's CRM and the client's ATS, keeping hiring managers updated on pipeline progress
- Deliver weekly reports covering search progress, key metrics, and insights that inform hiring strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on market conditions, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy to help them make informed decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical sourcing and recruiting, specializing in software engineering and/or hardware roles
- Experience working at a recruiting agency, with a strong track record of results
- Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent pipeline development
- Confidence working independently with hiring managers, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and nuanced hiring needs
- Proven track record of successfully managing recruitment for complex, technical roles with niche skill sets
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to provide necessary documentation upon request
Preferred Qualifications
- A track record of success hiring for early-stage or scaling startups, especially in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments
- Preference for candidates proficient with Gem, Ashby, Greenhouse, and Lever
