Formlabs is seeking an R&D Print Process Engineering Intern for Winter/Spring 2027, onsite in Somerville, MA. You will design, validate, and refine 3D printing techniques, collaborate across engineering teams, and contribute to next‑gen printer architectures and materials.
The role requires hands-on prototyping, experience with experiment design and data analysis, and programming knowledge (Python or Matlab). A portfolio of engineering work is required.

Interns at Formlabs are paid on a bi-weekly pay schedule. The pay range for this role will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location and expected impact on the organization. This is a salaried role, so you will always be paid based on the assumed 40 hours per week as a full‑time intern. This position does not offer housing or relocation assistance.
The weekly pay range for this role is:
$1,575 — $1,950 USD
