Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support complex hardware development programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Technical Project Manager will assist Program Managers and grow into full program ownership, working on Cable Backplane Systems production test and signal integrity initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project coordination or management experience in manufacturing hardware.
• Ability to communicate across technical teams and interpret engineering drawings.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, budgeting, and execution of complex new product development projects in a high-change environment.
• Act as a communication bridge between internal teams and Program Managers to ensure alignment on schedules, deliverables, and priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to keep programs on track.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, and financials while escalating risks and delays.
• Apply design for manufacturability principles and support readiness for production and capacity planning.
