Job summary

Base is America's next-generation power company based in Austin. We’re building a new class of large-scale infrastructure hardware, owning power electronics, thermal design, and end-to-end supply chain from prototype to volume production.

You will lead a major program, set the schedule, drive reviews, coordinate suppliers and contract manufacturers, and push for decisions that keep the plan honest. This in-person role favors hands-on collaboration on the factory floor and reports bad news early

Qualifications

• Must have owned a physical product from prototype to volume, thousands of units+, not a pilot run.
• Able to read schematics and mechanical drawings and challenge engineer proposals with credibility.

Responsibilities

• The program: establish one schedule, drive reviews, and ensure plan integrity.
• Design through production: shepherd hardware from prototype to volume production, manage build plans and part readiness.
• Suppliers and contract manufacturers: coordinate sourcing of components, qualify vendors, plan tooling, defend BOM costs with measurable targets.
