Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Hardware Product Line Manager for SASE & Security within the Networking unit. This hands-on role owns technical specs, performance, pricing, and supply for EdgeConnect, SSR, and SD-Branch lines, bridging demand and supply with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees including Master of Science and/or MBA a plus.
• 8+ years in hardware product management, hardware operations, supply chain, or a closely related discipline, ideally in networking, security, or embedded systems.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with direct experience building COGS and margin models and driving pricing decisions.
• Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, supply chain coordination, backlog and lead-time management, and component lifecycle management (BOMs, last time buys).
• Comfort operating across finance, supply chain, engineering, and GTM, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multi-year SASE and Security hardware portfolio planning and HW convergence across EdgeConnect, SSR, SD-Branch, and SRX with ODM/JDM cost assumptions.
• Partner with hardware engineering on platform definition across x86 and ARM systems, including processor, memory, storage, mechanical, and port configuration trade-offs and cost implications.
• Drive platform lifecycle decisions, including End of Sale timing and replacement planning.
• Lead New Product Integration (NPI) phase-gate deliverables with business case inputs, SKU creation, and pricing commit in partnership with programs and engineering.
• Understand secure supply chain requirements from manufacturing through end-customer acceptance.
