Job summary

Meta's Reality Labs Manufacturing Operations is seeking a Technical Program Manager Intern to design an optimized production line for charging case manufacturing. You will analyze factory data, evaluate line layouts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across sites to create a benchmark production flow.

This internship offers exposure to high-volume electronics manufacturing and advanced testing environments.

Qualifications

Pursuing a technical degree in a related engineering field.
Experience with process mapping, line balancing, and time studies.
Strong communication to translate data into recommendations.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across locations.
Intend to return to full-time degree program after internship.
Must be authorized to work in country at hire time.
Internship/research in high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing.
Familiarity with assembly automation, robotics, AOI or test fixtures.
Knowledge of OEE, cycle time, UPH/UPPH and yield.
Experience using AI tools to speed up programs.
Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Design an optimized production line for charging case manufacturing.
Analyze factory data and evaluate line layouts and cycle times.
Propose a production line design that can serve as a benchmark for future devices.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Design for Excellence, and contract manufacturers.
Support multi-site coordination and data-driven decision making.
