Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking a High Volume Manufacturing Equipment Engineer intern to monitor and improve production tools in a fast-paced semiconductor fab.

You will perform preventative maintenance, assist with tool installations, and document procedures to ensure safe, reliable operation. As a current student in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, you will apply SPC/DOE methods, analyze data with Python and MATLAB, and help reduce downtime while supporting TPM-driven

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and must be a student through Sep 2026.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electricity, and electronic components.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret mechanical, vacuum, gas, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain, and improve high-volume manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with installations and tests.
• Document procedures and maintain training materials and checklists.
• Drive KPI improvements using TPM, LTD, MA, and AI-enabled analytics where appropriate.
