Job summary

Atoms is hiring for a senior manufacturing leader to scale hardware production across multiple sites. You will own end-to-end operations, from retrofit to box build, with a focus on throughput, quality, and scalable staffing. This role demands hands-on leadership on the floor and deep data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Track record taking a hardware production operation from zero or near-zero to meaningful volume.
• Experience in a larger, mature manufacturing organization and scaling operations.
• Demonstrated multi-site experience: standing up new production locations.
• Strong manufacturing engineering foundation: line design, time studies, lean.
• Proven people leadership at scale: managing managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end retrofit and box build operations: process, technicians, tooling, throughput, gates.
• Stand up production at two new locations and design layout and material flow.
• Lead technician organization: hiring pace, training, certification, shift structure.
• Build the leadership layer beneath you.
• Operate a quality gate with first-pass yield and closed-loop feedback to engineering.
• Partner with Supply Chain to ensure complete kits before line entry.
