Job summary

ApTask seeks a manufacturing/production engineer to interface with external suppliers and partners, ensuring hardware is manufactured, processed, packaged, and delivered on time and on budget. You will design and integrate custom manufacturing equipment and manage hardware configuration through the full build and test cycle.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, strong fundamentals in mechanical/electrical engineering, and several years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a engineering-related field.
• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering fundamentals.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production engineering.
• Experience defining manufacturing process flows and selecting production equipment.
• Strong GD&T, tolerance analysis, precision fits, and structural assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Solid written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Interface with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure hardware is manufactured, processed, packaged, and delivered on time and on budget.
• Design, procure, install, and integrate custom manufacturing equipment.
• Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree throughout build and test processes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
