You will perform chip‑level bring‑up, validation, and testing on Persimmons’ custom silicon boards, collaborating with hardware engineering to make builds production‑ready. Responsibilities include building hardware from components to full systems, troubleshooting power and cooling subsystems, executing test plans, maintaining lab equipment, documenting results, and supporting rapid iteration during

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 2–5 years in a hardware lab, system‑level test or bring‑up role.
• Comfort with hands‑on debugging using test equipment and a problem‑solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build and bring‑up Persimmons’ hardware from components to full system, in‑office lab.
• Troubleshoot power delivery, cooling subsystems, and related hardware issues with design engineers.
• Execute structured test plans and capture repeatable data for teams.
• Maintain lab equipment, benches and diagnostic tools, keeping the lab organized.
• Document builds, bring‑up steps, test results and known issues for engineering.
• Collaborate daily with hardware and test engineering to prioritize lab work.
• Support rapid iteration during bring‑up cycles as designs change.
