Job summary

Arrow Electronics' eInfochips Inc unit in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design boards with iMX8/9 and MCU platforms like ESP32/STM32. You will implement high-speed interfaces (MIPI DSI, LVDS, HDMI, CSI, USB) and ensure robust EMI/EMC compliance.

You will handle schematics/layouts in Altium or Cadence, perform signal and power integrity analyses, and support certifications across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4 year degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Experience with sensor interfaces and board-level design.
• On-site role in Benton Harbor, MI and willingness to travel as needed.
• Experience with regulatory certification activities.

Responsibilities

• Design boards with microprocessors (iMX8/9) and MCUs (ESP32/STM32).
• Create schematics and layouts; manage BOMs and component selection.
• Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analyses.
• Coordinate with fabrication, testing, and assembly teams; support certifications (FCC/UL).
• Collaborate with customers on component placement and PCB size adjustments.
