This position is part of Novanta’s Synrad business unit. Synrad has come to be recognized as a leader in the development of sealed CO2 lasers and electro-optics technologies. Based on our patented “All Metal” tube technology, there are now well over 250,000 Synrad lasers in use throughout the world. Synrad lasers are used in a wide variety of industrial applications, including marking, coding, engraving, cutting, and converting on a wide range of target materials.
We are seeking a motivated Electronics Engineer to work in a design environment that handles new product introduction, sustaining, and design, creating control and sensor PCBs, and working with digital and RF engineers to develop laser driver modules. Additionally, the Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary engineering and continuous improvement team, building the tests, tools, processes, and culture required to improve product quality and productivity. He/she will troubleshoot and support existing designs, develop product improvements, and assist in the movement of new products into production by defining, designing and implementing methods, processes and product changes to address internal and external quality defects while enabling the ultimate success of our operators and technicians.

The base pay for this position ranges from $105,000 - 118,000 depending on the geographic market. Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package. Novanta supports all aspects of your life’s needs.
