Description

Apple Inc. has the following available in San Diego, California: Develop, prototype, and validate analog, mixed signal, and power hardware that will drive the next generation of technology for Apple’s products. Design circuits to be integrated into other sub-systems of Apple products. Perform simulations using tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, and LTSpice. Complete board bring-up and hardware debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers. Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to provide complete solutions to end users’ needs.

Work hours: 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package and is determined within a range, providing opportunities for growth. The base pay range for this role is $138,965 - $195,200 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with each of the following skills:
    • DC/DC power supply design
    • Analog circuit design
    • Electrical schematic design entry
    • PCB layout
    • Circuit board bring-up and debugging
    • Use of oscilloscopes and test equipment
    • Electrical circuit SPICE simulation
