Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Total 15 years of PCB design and board-level hardware experience.
• Hands-on experience bringing up boards and debugging hardware issues.
• Strong digital design knowledge and high-speed interface design.
• Experience with 6+ layer PCBs and interpreting schematics.
• Proficient with reading schematics and using test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed failure analysis on hardware products including servers and networking gear.
• Own hardware issue debugging from initial investigation through resolution and documentation.
• Bring up boards, including powering, configuring, and validating functionality.
• Design, review, and troubleshoot PCBs, including 6+ layer boards.
• Analyze schematics to identify design issues and failure points.
• Use test equipment to diagnose and validate hardware assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve reliability and manufacturability.
• Support systems integration of hardware with software and other components.
• Document findings and communicate corrective actions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements in hardware design and quality standards.
