Job summary

PeopleTec is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer for our Huntsville, AL location. You will join a small team to design and validate FPGA designs and PCBs for rugged DoD applications, working across engineering and manufacturing disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant field.
• 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent graduate research.
• Experience with physical layout design tools for PCB or microelectronic design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and test FPGA designs and firmware for components.
• Design custom PCBs with large FPGA and microcontroller components for evaluation and test.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Component Engineering, and Procurement.
