Job summary

Synstack Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking an experienced avionics hardware engineer to design and develop avionics electronic hardware for aerospace applications.

You will perform circuit simulation, RF/microwave design, EMI/EMC testing, and create schematics and PCB layouts while working with cross-functional teams to meet DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 requirements. A Bachelor's or Master’s in electronics or RF is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience in avionics/aerospace/defense electronics is preferred.
• Proven ability to design and test avionics hardware to meet stringent requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics electronic hardware.
• Perform circuit simulation and analysis using SPICE tools.
• Design and test RF/microwave circuits and systems.
• Create and review schematics and PCB designs.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Support DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 qualification/EMI-EMC testing.
• Prepare hardware specifications, requirements, and test plans.
• Analyze test failures and identify root causes.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support product verification, qualification, and certification activities.
