Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks an Avionics Hardware Design Engineer to design, test, and qualify electronic hardware for avionics and aerospace applications. You will work with hardware design, RF/microwave circuits, SPICE simulations, PCB/ECAD tools, MATLAB, and environmental testing.

Responsibilities include schematics/PCB design, hardware testing, debugging, and supporting DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 EMI/EMC qualification, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver qualified hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Avionics, RF/Microwave Engineering.
• Hands-on avionics hardware design and development experience preferred.
• Experience with DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 EMI/EMC testing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics electronic hardware.
• Perform circuit simulation and analysis using SPICE tools.
• Design and test RF/Microwave circuits and systems.
• Create and review schematics and PCB designs.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Support DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 qualification/EMI-EMC testing.
• Prepare hardware specifications, requirements, and test plans.
• Analyze test failures and identify root causes.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support product verification, qualification, and certification activities.

The candidate should have strong experience in hardware design, RF/Microwave, SPICE simulation, PCB/ECAD tools, MATLAB, and environmental testing.
