Job summary

Gather AI in Pittsburgh is seeking a Hardware Deployment & Development Coordinator to own deployment readiness, BOM accuracy, and field issue resolution. You will coordinate with development and field ops to ensure hardware is ready on time for customer deployments.

This on-site role offers remote work within the US, requires hands-on reading of drawings, and close collaboration with engineers, technicians, and suppliers. You’ll build processes and drive improvements in deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience owning hardware readiness for deployments and launches.
• Knowledge of BOMs, revisions, configurations, and change control.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
• Comfort handling field escalations from first report to resolution.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to shifting plans.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware readiness for each deployment: schedules, kits, parts status, prerequisites.
• Be on site for installs and go-lives as hardware liaison lead.
• Own tier-2 hardware escalations: triage, route to technician/engineer, close the loop.
• Own RMA process: intake, disposition, failure analysis coordination and trend reporting back to engineering and suppliers.
• Own BOM accuracy and configuration management across programs, including revision control and serial/config traceability.
• Build and document the processes behind the work, including the readiness checklist, RMA workflow and configuration control.
• Plan development builds and test assets with engineering and the technicians, and turn field findings into engineering action.
