Job summary

Gather AI in Pittsburgh is seeking a Hardware Deployment & Development Coordinator to own deployment readiness, BOM accuracy, and field issue resolution across hardware programs. You will collaborate with hardware leadership, engineers, Field Ops, and Purchasing to keep deployments on time.

You’ll be on-site for installs, manage tier-2 escalations, document configurations, plan development builds, and turn field findings into engineering actions.

Qualifications

• Experience owning hardware readiness for deployments end-to-end.
• Experience maintaining BOMs, revisions and configuration change control.
• Ability read assembly/electrical drawings and troubleshoot hardware hands-on.
• Detail-oriented, agile and adaptable to plan changes.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware readiness for each deployment: schedules, kits, parts, prerequisites.
• Be on site for installs and go-lives as hardware liaison, then hand off to Field Ops.
• Own tier-2 hardware escalations: triage, route to the right technician or engineer, close the loop.
• Own our RMA process: intake, disposition, failure analysis coordination and trend reporting back to engineering and suppliers.
• Own BOM accuracy and configuration management across programs, including revision control and serial/config traceability.
• Build and document the processes behind the work, including readiness checklist, RMA workflow and configuration control.
• Plan development builds and test assets with engineering and the technicians, and turn field findings into engineering action.

• Give Purchasing a clear demand plan and flag long-lead and single-source risks early.
