Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Circuit Board Tech to build and test power electronics boards in our Durham lab. You’ll assemble PCBs by hand, solder SMT and through-hole parts, and work closely with engineers to debug and improve prototypes.
You’ll use oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters, keeping the lab organized and following procedures. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and collaborative, offering a path to contribute directly to next‑generation AI power

From assembling PCBs to helping debug and repair high-performance power circuits, you’ll be the hands on the hardware that lets engineers move fast.

You’ll live in the lab, supporting power-electronics systems and application platforms used in AI, battery management, motor drives, fast charging, and more.
You’ll be working hands-on with soldering tools, PCB assemblies, and standard lab test equipment as part of a tight applications team.

You’re the person others hand the tricky soldering jobs to. You’ve reworked fine-pitch parts, fixed “dead” boards, and you actually enjoy methodically hunting down what went wrong. Maybe you’ve done this in industry, a university lab, a makerspace, or on your own bench at home.
If you’ve built and debugged real circuits, feel at home around scopes and power supplies, and like working shoulder-to-shoulder with applications engineers on serious power hardware, you’ll stand out here.
You’ll be directly plugged into next-generation silicon and power-electronics hardware, not stuck on repetitive production work.
Your builds, rework, and lab support will directly enable rapid evaluation of new technologies and real customer applications.
