Overview

We are seeking an Electronic Hardware Engineer to join a fast-paced, multidisciplinary product development team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the full product lifecycle—from concept through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. You will work on a wide range of projects supporting both large enterprise clients and emerging startups, developing innovative and manufacturable electronic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic hardware systems from concept through production
  • Perform schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium preferred)
  • Build, solder, assemble, and debug prototype hardware and systems
  • Conduct testing and validation using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other lab equipment
  • Take ownership of prototype development, including inspection, troubleshooting, and iteration of designs
  • Create block diagrams, circuit concepts, and technical visualizations to support design discussions and decision-making
  • Develop test plans, product specifications, and clear documentation for internal teams and clients
  • Analyze test data and present results in a clear, organized format (e.g., graphs, reports)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, and industrial design teams, including working with 3D PCB CAD data
  • Support full lifecycle development, adapting to new tools, technologies, and technical challenges as needed
  • Select components with consideration for cost, availability, and performance requirements
  • Design and work with both analog and digital circuitry, including embedded systems (8-, 16-, and 32-bit microcontrollers)
  • Contribute to the development of multi-layer PCBs, including designs with controlled impedance
  • Interface with manufacturing partners by preparing fabrication packages and ensuring designs are production-ready
  • Communicate design intent, approach, and outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications (Required)
  • U.S. Citizenship (required due to project requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3–6+ years of product development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with electronics prototyping, soldering, and debugging
  • Experience with both analog and digital circuit design
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium preferred)
  • Experience with embedded microcontrollers (8-, 16-, and 32-bit)
  • Familiarity with STM32 and/or Microchip platforms
  • Experience designing multi-layer PCBs with controlled impedance
  • Ability to use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly
  • 40% design and CAD work
  • 40% hands-on prototyping and lab testing
  • 20% customer interaction and team collaboration

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on environment where engineers are involved in both design and build. The team is small, agile, and composed of highly skilled professionals working on cutting-edge projects.
