You will oversee hardscape tasks such as patios, walkways, steps, outdoor kitchens, and fireplaces, plus snow removal in winter. A reliable, learn-fast attitude and prior hardscape/masonry experience are required.

Job description

This Hardscape Crew Leader position serves as a full-time, year-round role dedicated to leading outdoor projects and winter maintenance operations. The primary objective is to guide a team in completing high-quality hardscape installations while adapting to changing seasonal demands.

Based in Wauseon, OH, this premier landscape design and maintenance organization has been transforming outdoor living spaces for residential and commercial properties since 2015. • Hourly pay ranging from $17 to $22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute daily hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, steps, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor firepits & fireplaces.
• Perform essential winter snow removal duties during the colder months.
• Adapt to variable schedules, including potential Friday or weekend shifts necessitated by rain or winter snow events.
• Execute duties consistently outdoors, even in difficult conditions.
• Manage a weekly schedule of 40 to 50 hours, which currently consists of four 10-hour days when weather permits.

Requirements

• Possess previous experience in hardscaping, or a background in masonry or concrete.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform necessary industry skills, such as shooting grade.
• Exhibit a strong willingness to learn the trade and display the correct attitude if transitioning from a general landscaping background.
• Maintain unwavering reliability regarding daily attendance and punctuality.
• Accept year-round employment expectations and the physical demands of the industry.
