Job summary

Landscaping by J. Michael is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our on-site crews and oversee projects from layout to completion. You will guide installations, ensure safety, and maintain high workmanship on a range of landscape builds.

The role requires 5+ years in masonry and landscape construction, a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. CDL B is preferred and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in masonry and landscape construction
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Hydraulic license is a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• CDL B is preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your crew, making sure everyone is set up for success each day
• Lay out projects and guide the team through installations
• Work on a variety of builds including walkways, patios, natural stone walls, bluestone, pavers, and segmented walls
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other tools
• Help maintain equipment and vehicles, keeping everything clean, safe, and in good working order

What You'll Be Doing

As a Foreman, you'll play a key role in bringing our projects to life. You'll lead a crew on‑site and help ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
