Job summary

Goodwill NLA is seeking a Hardlines Processor at the Airline Store in Bossier City, LA. This full-time role evaluates donated goods, prices non-textile merchandise, and prepares items for sale or disposition to maximize revenue for workforce programs.

You will inspect, sort, label, and stage merchandise, ensuring quality, value, and efficient flow to the sales floor while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the processing area.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly evaluate merchandise for condition, quality, category, salability, and appropriate disposition.
• Ability to learn and apply established pricing and value guidelines.
• Ability to recognize merchandise that may warrant higher-value or specialized sales consideration.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and evaluates donated goods for condition and salability.
• Sorts merchandise to appropriate streams (sales, e-commerce, outlet, disposal).
• Prices unpriced merchandise using guidelines to support value and stewardship.
• Labels merchandise using processing systems and printers for sale.
• Organizes processed merchandise for movement to the sales floor.
• Safely moves merchandise with material-handling equipment as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe processing area and reports safety concerns.
