Job summary

The Hardlines Processor at Goodwill NLA in Airline Store, Bossier City, LA will evaluate donated goods for condition and value, price items, and label merchandise for sale. You will sort items into appropriate streams and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a busy retail environment.

This role supports revenue generation for workforce programs and community services, reporting to the DGR Store Manager and DGR Store Assistant Manager. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background check required.
• Experience in retail/warehouse helpful but not required.
• Must learn established quality, sorting, processing and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate donated goods for condition, quality, salability and disposition.
• Sort merchandise to appropriate streams (sales, e‑commerce, higher‑value, outlet, salvage).
• Price merchandise using established guidelines.
• Label merchandise using processing systems and label printers.
• Prepare and stage merchandise for movement and sale.
• Meet production expectations with required quality and pricing standards.
• Record required production information accurately.
• Organize processed merchandise for efficient movement to the sales floor.
• Safely move merchandise using material-handling equipment as required.
• Assist in other store operations and duties as assigned.
