Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Hard Lines Merchandising Specialist for the Richmond, TX store. This part-time role focuses on sorting donations, pricing items per guidelines, and supporting daily store operations.

You will work with the Donated Goods Retail team, maintain product flow, assist customers, and help ensure a clean, safe, and organized sales floor. Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Able to perform basic math functions (i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sorting through hardline donations and separating sellable items from outlet product.
• Research prices and price items according to GWH guidelines.
• Sort and process donations.
• Assist with merchandising produced goods on the sales floor per guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise as needed.
• Receive and record donations as needed.
• Assist with sorting donations according to GWH guidelines as assigned.
• Notify the manager of low or overstocked merchandise.
• Assist with the security and safety of GWH Team Members and property.
• Perform necessary janitorial work.
