Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is hiring a Hardlines Manager in the United States. You will lead the day-to-day operations of key departments, set priorities, coach leaders, and ensure an exceptional customer experience across Camping, Fishing & Hunting, Outdoor, Firearms, and Team Sports.

You will partner with the Store Director and fellow leaders to align goals, drive sales, and maintain safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading departments up to 40 team members with sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day leadership of Camping, Fishing & Hunting, Outdoor, Firearms, and Team Sports.
• Translate business priorities into actions for your team and ensure readiness to serve customers.
• Plan labor and coach leaders to meet safety, compliance, and service standards.
• Collaborate with Store Director and other leaders to align goals and execution.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
