Job summary

Sturtevant's is seeking a Hardgoods Sales Associate to help guests find skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings that match their needs and goals. With your product knowledge and welcoming service, you’ll ensure guests leave confident and excited for their time on the mountain.

You’ll engage with customers, perform bootfitting, stay current on gear trends, keep displays tidy, and work as part of a team that shares a passion for mountain living.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly, and able to talk ski or board shop all day.
• Love to ski or snowboard or eager to learn.
• Flexible with schedule — holidays, weekends, split shifts.
• Stand for hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and documentation
• Strong English fluency

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide to the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings with confidence and care.
• Provide personalized bootfitting so guests leave comfortable and ready for adventure.
• Share knowledge of latest gear and trends with guests.
• Keep the shop vibe warm and inviting with clean, well-curated displays.
• Create memorable experiences for beginners and experts alike.
• Be part of a team that supports each other to keep the shop running smoothly.
