Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Handyperson for a major client on Long Island to support facilities operations during the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). The role involves general maintenance, patching and painting walls, ceiling tile replacement, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical tasks.

You will work with a team and independently as needed, coordinate with management, and ensure safety and cleanliness across site areas. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of handyman or related maintenance experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Good interpersonal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including patching, painting, and small carpentry.
• Replace ceiling tiles, minor equipment, and perform plumbing tasks.
• Exterior work such as pressure washing and occasional snow removal.
• Operate a scissor lift and use power tools safely.
• Maintain and organize maintenance rooms and stock supplies.
