Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Westbury, NY is seeking a Handyman to join the mall maintenance team. The weekend shift runs Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 PM, handling general maintenance and minor repairs around the mall.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the mall.
• Routine inspection and testing of equipment to ensure standards.

• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Ensure the property remains clean, safe and well maintained.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for performing general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the mall.
• Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery to ensure everything is up to standard
• Perform routine maintenance around building
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
• Ensure the property remains clean, safe and well maintained.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations.

• 1or more plus years related experience
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
