Job summary

Alatas America is seeking a hands-on worker for workshop support, parts cleaning, yard upkeep, and local vendor collections. The role involves cleaning crane parts, using power tools, assisting assembly, and maintaining clean facilities. You will support the Repairs Department and operate company vehicles as needed.

Qualified candidates are reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with forklift experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must be 25 years or older for vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Clean crane parts using solvent tanks and other approved cleaning equipment.
• Use power tools safely and correctly.
• Prepare and assist with the assembly of parts and equipment.
• Keep the workshop, warehouse, yard, parking lot and work pads clean and orderly.
• Complete routine housekeeping, including sweeping, waste removal and debris clean-up.
• Organise and rearrange materials in the yard and back-pad areas.
• Collect parts and vendor orders locally using a company vehicle when required.
• Support the Repairs Department and take on other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Follow detailed instructions, work efficiently and help maintain a safe working environment.
