Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean crane parts using solvent tanks and other approved cleaning equipment.
• Use power tools safely and correctly.
• Prepare and assist with the assembly of parts and equipment.
• Keep the workshop, warehouse, yard, parking lot and work pads clean and orderly.
• Complete routine housekeeping, including sweeping, waste removal and debris clean-up.
• Organise and rearrange materials in the yard and back-pad areas.
• Collect parts and vendor orders locally using a company vehicle when required.
• Support the Repairs Department and take on other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Follow detailed instructions, work efficiently and help maintain a safe working environment.

Position Overview

This is a practical, hands-on role combining workshop support, parts cleaning, yard upkeep and local vendor collections. It suits someone who takes pride in keeping a busy operation safe, organised and moving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean crane parts using solvent tanks and other approved cleaning equipment.
• Use power tools, including grinders, die grinders and wire wheels, safely and correctly.
• Prepare and assist with the assembly of parts and equipment.
• Keep the workshop, warehouse, yard, parking lot and work pads clean and orderly.
• Complete routine housekeeping, including sweeping, waste removal and debris clean-up.
• Organise and rearrange materials in the yard and back-pad areas.
• Collect parts and vendor orders locally using a company vehicle when required.
• Support the Repairs Department and take on other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Follow detailed instructions, work efficiently and help maintain a safe working environment.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Comfortable working outdoors in Texas heat.
• Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and moving throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Steel-toe boots must be worn while working.
