Job summary

Adalta Global Inc. in Houston seeks a hands-on Workday Payroll Analyst to join a Fortune 500 client. Hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week; focus on Workday Payroll configuration, enhancements, testing and troubleshooting rather than processing payroll.

Qualifications

2+ years of Workday experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
Experience configuring Workday Payroll rather than solely processing payroll.
Understanding of Workday business processes, eligibility rules and payroll calculations.
Experience with testing, troubleshooting and resolving Workday configuration issues.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business teams.
Experience working within a large or complex Workday environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Workday Payroll functionality and business processes
Support ongoing enhancements and configuration changes based on business requirements
Configure earnings, deductions, eligibility rules and payroll-related calculations
Assist with testing of new configurations, enhancements and Workday releases
Troubleshoot configuration issues and work with internal teams to identify and resolve problems
Support integrations and downstream impacts related to Workday Payroll
Work with HR, Payroll and other business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Workday configuration
Maintain documentation around configuration and processes
Participate in Workday releases, system improvements and ongoing optimization
