Job summary

Airlock Digital seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to lead a small team across Windows, macOS, and Linux Agents. You will stay hands-on with the Windows Agent, shaping architecture, implementing features, reviewing code, and resolving complex defects.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of professional software engineering with strong Windows native development background.
• Deep Windows systems-programming expertise across user and kernel mode, drivers, and security boundaries.
• 3+ years of experience managing a small engineering team with coaching and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage four to five engineers across Windows, macOS, and Linux agents, setting expectations and guiding career growth.
• Own the Windows Agent technical direction, translating product needs into designs balancing delivery with long-term health.
• Remain hands-on in Windows Agent code, implementing features and debugging complex kernel- and user-mode components.
• Lead Windows design, architecture, and debugging for crashes, memory issues, performance, and compatibility.
• Provide leadership for macOS and Linux engineers, aligning priorities and maintaining engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, QA, security, and cloud teams to improve engineering practices and customer outcomes.
