Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Web Developer Intern to join our Birmingham, AL team. You will work on Agile development, contribute to web-based applications, and present capstone project outcomes to IT leadership.

This internship is onsite at our Birmingham headquarters. You will collaborate with senior developers, document and test solutions, and support the deployment pipeline to production while growing your technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js, Nest.js).
• Familiar with cloud platforms and DevSecOps concepts and tools (Git, CI/CD).
• Experience with Linux shell and Windows scripting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate on an Agile development team building web-based applications for company needs.
• Work on a capstone project and present results to IT leadership.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects on assigned tasks.
• Document, design, develop, test, and monitor solutions.
• Support deployment pipeline of customer-facing products to production and triage issues.
