Job summary

Motion’s Birmingham, AL-based Web Developer Intern program invites students to contribute to real projects on an Agile development team. You will develop web applications, participate in the production deployment process, and learn through hands-on tasks that align with business goals.

You’ll collaborate with senior developers, work on a capstone project, and present results to IT leadership, gaining exposure to full software lifecycle in a supportive, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Working toward a BS degree in a computer-related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)
• Familiarity with web development languages/frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js, Nest.js)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms/DevSecOps tools (Git, CI/CD)

Responsibilities

• Participate on an Agile development team developing web-based applications for company needs
• Work on a capstone project and present to IT leadership
• Collaborate with senior developers/architects on tasks
• Document, design, develop, test, and monitor solutions
• Support deployment pipeline of customer-facing products to production; triage and solve issues
