Job summary

AventureStaffing is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Estherville, IA. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will direct the shipping process to ensure orders are pulled, packed and shipped to the customer's requirements, and you will oversee daily cycle counting and supervise the material handlers, receiving clerks, inventory clerks and shipping lead.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience supervising employees in a warehouse.
• 2–5 years experience with cycle counting or similar inventory control.
• Must be forklift certified and able to train others on forklift operation.
• Experience with ERP systems and basic computer software (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Shipping Lead, Material Handlers, Receiving Clerks, Inventory Clerks, and Warehouse Clerks.
• Monitor daily activities and ensure workload coverage for each area.
• Reallocate duties as needed to meet department goals.
• Oversee all processes and policies within the department for compliance.
• Oversee product quality across inventory, storage, packing, handling and shipping.
• Oversee freight pricing and contracts and ensure carrier performance.
• Run ERP reports and perform cycle counts; reconcile discrepancies.
