Job summary

Farmers Union Industries is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee packaging, freezer, and shipping departments in Estherville, IA. Responsible for inventory accuracy, outbound freight management, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in fresh/frozen food warehouse, shipping, inventory
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to operate basic computer systems (inventory/shipping software) and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Manage freezer, shipping, and packaging teams to support safe, efficient daily operations and timely product movement
• Monitor product readiness and inventory levels to support the confirmed shipping schedule
• Partner with Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to plan load-out volumes and dock capacity
• Execute fresh and frozen load-outs according to the shipping schedule and dock appointments
• Communicate product readiness, warehouse capacity, or loading constraints to Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
• Maintain daily make sheet and ensure USDA stamps and export loads approvals
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and food-safety prior to loading
• Coordinate trailer movement and yard truck activity to support shipping flow
• Organize cooler/freezer space for efficient storage and load-out
• Maintain end-of-day inventory reporting and secure shipping areas
