Job summary

MORRISETTE PACKAGING INC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead daily warehouse operations, including inventory, shipping, and safety, while actively working with the team on the floor. This is a floor-focused leadership role supervising warehouse personnel and delivery drivers to keep operations running safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has prior management or supervisory experience, a strong safety focus, and a commitment to improving inventory accuracy,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• College degree is preferred but not required.
• Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all warehouse personnel.
• Hire and train new warehouse personnel (in coordination with HR).
• Test and certify new employees on forklifts and order pickers.
• Conduct annual employee performance reviews and request pay increases as appropriate.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, insurance rules, fire codes and company policies are followed.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and relationship with freight line reps.
