Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is hiring for an hourly union-style shop role in the United States. The position involves hands-on chassis preparation, installing bodies and accessories, and wiring work to support assembly lines.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read a tape measure, and comfort with hand and power tools. Prior manufacturing or mechanical experience is preferred; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience in manufacturing, autobody, mechanical, or service tech roles preferred.
• Basic wiring knowledge (cutting, stripping, connecting wires) is required.
• High attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare chassis for truck body installation.
• Install bodies, bumpers, wiring, and accessories per specs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Support team goals with flexibility and attention to detail.
