Job summary

American Trim is seeking dependable Heavy Truck Bumper Production Operators to support semi-truck and bus bumper manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with a teammate to lift, position and remove bumpers from forming equipment, set up tooling and fixtures, monitor the process and inspect parts to meet quality standards.

You will follow safe-work practices, complete production documentation and maintain a clean, organized work area while contributing to on-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
• Ability to work safely in a two-person production environment.
• Ability to coordinate movements with a teammate while handling large parts.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn setup procedures.
• Follow written job setup and quality instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry and position bumpers as a two-person team.
• Set up tooling, fixtures and equipment per procedures.
• Operate forming equipment to bend bumper ends to spec.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections for quality.
• Complete production documentation and maintain clean work area.
• Communicate any equipment, tooling or quality issues to supervision.
