Job summary

American Trim is seeking experienced Heavy Truck Stamping Press Operators to set up and run large stamping presses for bumper and grille production on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, blueprint-reading, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work with automated equipment, perform die changes, and monitor presses to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous stamping press or die setup experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Ability to learn die setup procedures.
• Experience in production with schedules.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Quality inspection ability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stamping presses 90–1,600 tons.
• Perform die setups and changeovers.
• Coordinate press and work-cell operations.
• Conduct visual and dimensional quality checks.
• Monitor lubrication, tooling and scrap buildup.
• Follow safety procedures and production schedules.
• Communicate issues to supervision and support teams.
