Job summary

Maddox Industrial Transformer is seeking an Inventory Technician to join our shop environment in which you will test, evaluate, disassemble, troubleshoot, and quality check dry-type and liquid-filled transformers.

You will document test results and parts specifications, operate forklifts and cranes for inventory organization, and work outdoors in all weather. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and reliability.

Qualifications

• Welding, fabrication, and general shop skills preferred.
• Willingness to train early-career candidates with the right attitude.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and follow instructions.
• Comfort with online documentation and web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical test equipment to test and evaluate transformers.
• Document test results and mechanical condition of transformers.
• Load and unload transformers using forklifts and cranes.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
