Job summary

Maddox Industrial Transformer is seeking an Inventory Technician to join our shop team in the United States. You will test and evaluate dry-type and liquid-filled transformers, document results, and assist in organizing inventory.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and precise recordkeeping. We offer a 40–45 hour workweek (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM) with potential overtime during peak periods, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical testing or evaluation experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot transformers and related components.
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical test equipment and power tools to test, evaluate, disassemble, and troubleshoot transformers.
• Electronically document test results, mechanical condition, dimensions, and accessories for each unit.
• Operate forklifts and cranes to organize inventory and unload transformers from trucks.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety procedures in a heavy-equipment shop environment.
