Job summary

Molex is hiring a Test Engineer to support development, validation, and qualification of interconnect, cable assembly, and electronic solutions. You will design and execute test plans, build fixtures, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with specs.

You will work within the ADS Engineering team on product verification, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 2+ years in product testing, validation, reliability or related engineering functions.
• Experience with electrical test equipment listed in the job description.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and test requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and technical report writing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product verification and validation test plans.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and automated test systems.
• Validate electrical test methods for cable harnesses and assemblies (DWV/Hi-Pot, insulation resistance).
• Analyze test data and generate technical reports with recommendations.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain test procedures and department documentation.
• Support qualification activities and design reviews.
• Investigate product failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, and maintained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in test efficiency and cost reduction.
• Support customer inquiries, audits, and technical reviews.
