Job summary

Molex is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to develop production test strategies for active high-speed data cables in a mass production environment. You will integrate custom boards and fixtures with test equipment, analyze data, and drive quality improvements.

You will collaborate with global teams to deploy testing across regions and contribute to software that integrates customer requirements. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in a hardware testing environment.
• Working knowledge with scripted programming languages such as Python OR C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers.
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR modules and/or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
• Software OR hardware debugging experience.
• 20% domestic/international travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop production test strategies to support global manufacturing of active high-speed data cables.
• Manage production test strategy deployment with multifunctional teams.
• Develop, integrate, and upgrade software for test systems across regions (China, Mexico, India, Vietnam).
• Coordinate software development with design centers and manufacturing.
• Create and maintain product and test system documentation and work instructions.
• Contribute to Molex Quality/Environmental Management Systems.
