Toyota Material Handling North America is seeking an Automation Development Co-Op to work onsite in Greene, NY. You will join the automation engineering team, receive mentorship, and gain hands-on experience with prototype components, testing, and design improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional teams, forklift training, and exposure to leadership. Ideal for juniors pursuing Engineering degrees with a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Academic year: Junior or above.
• Enrolled in a degree program in the specified fields.
• Onsite assignment in Greene, NY from January to May or January to August.

Responsabilités

• Work with an assigned mentor on automation development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot, determine solutions, and implement changes.
• Complete forklift training and obtain forklift license.
• Design new components, subsystems and features for market requests.
• Reproduce issues, determine root cause, and propose fixes.
• Install prototype components in lab environment.
• Perform engineering analyses using calculations and CA tools.
