Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Farmington Hills, MI invites you to join a 10-12 week Structural Engineering Intern program. You will assist in analysis, design and documentation for diverse building types, working with experienced engineers in an in-office setting.

Qualifications

Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist with structural design portions of projects according to code and IMEG standards.
Assist with researching and finding resources related to projects.
Support documentation and client record files.
Coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and supplier teams.
Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while tracking progress.
Review project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to final check.
Prepare and issue addendum information.
Conduct periodic job site observations and other services as required.
